Guglielmo Coppola founded Fiam in 1939;
In 1960 Fiam installed the first escalator made in Italy at the Milan Trade fair in 1966 Mauro Coppola followed his father into the elevator industry at FIAM; Even though he was still very young, he soon proved himself to be a superior person in the elevator industry;
In 1985, Coppola Guglielmo died and Fiam was sold to KONE Group
In 1995 Mauro Coppola formed TECNOVA to retake the former FIAM business.
In 1997 Mauro Coppola broke new ground in Asia and became a multinational company.
In 2002 Fabrizio Coppola established the “Engineering Aftermarket Department” within TECNOVA. TECNOVA MMG was founded in Bucharest, Romania in 2006.
In 2009, TECNOVA was selected by the Government committee to represent outstanding Italian companies at the 2010 World Expo in Shanghai.
In 2010 TECNOVA established a new company in the UK;
